The second graders from Mrs. Coyne and Mrs. Simons' classes held a walk-a-thon to raise money in order to buy books for the Pediatrics Ward at South Nassau Hospital. All the students walked eight laps around the School #6 track, a total of 2 miles each, and raised $1,200.
