Recognizing that every child deserves excellence in education and a quality life, Oceanside High School PTA's obligation is to maintain its commitment and service to all children and its diverse membership through increased parent awareness, advocacy education, and involvement.

Dear Parents,
This is a reminder…
The Site-Based Management Team is a school based planning and shared decision-making team that exists in each school building in our district. The members meet to discuss building issues.
The team meets monthly and consists of parents, teachers, and administrators. The High School team also includes students. Some meetings are in the day and some are in the evening. We will develop a schedule to try to accommodate everyone’s needs at the first meeting.
We are looking for anyone interested in serving on Oceanside High School’s Site-Based Team (there are two(2) positions available) for the 2012-2013 school year. If you would like to participate, you must submit a “Letter of Intent” by February 10th to the PTA Presidents. Upon receipt of your letter of intent, you will be sent a profile to complete (include your address on letter) and returned by March 14th. If more than 2 people are interested in the positions, elections will be held on May 1st, 2012. Please keep in mind that this is a two year position, you must have a child attending OHS during your term, and you can only serve on one building team at a time.
